The primary function of a histotechnologist is to prepare tissue samples for analysis, involving a complex process of preparatory steps such as staining, processing, trimming, and other techniques that require a specific skill set.
To achieve accurate testing, the histotechnologist must possess the skills and training to perform complex scientific testing.
