Weekend RN

Registered Nurse -RN for home health and hospice care.

Weekends only (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

Work with patients of all ages and backgrounds in their homes. Compassionate and empathetic Registered Nurses who desire working one-on-one with patients outside of a clinical setting.

Job Responsibilities

Covering incoming calls and making necessary patient visits as necessary

Providing patient care and coordinating the services of a multidisciplinary team incollaboration with the patient's physician

Completing initial and on-going comprehensive assessments of the patient's needs and requests at appropriate time points assigned

Initiating the plan of care and revising as necessary

Wound care, IV therapy, medication & pain management, hospice care

Qualifications And Skills

A graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license as a Registered Nurse-RN

Prior home health, hospice, or acute care nursing experience preferred

Computer skills

Strong clinical and assessment ability

Compassionate and patient-focused, positive attitude

Reliable transportation and able to travel

Strong documentation skills
