John Newcombe Country Club in New Braunfels, Texas is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a part-time, seasonal Day Care Monitor! Qualified candidates will take care of the needs of children placed in the day care facility while providing a safe and supervised environment.
Essential Duties:

Maintains a safe environment for children placed in day care.

Ensures that established rules of the day care center are enforced and adhered to.

Maintains an attractive, orderly appearance in the day care center.

Assists with the facilitation of entertaining and educational activities for the children.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks, hears, stands and walks, climbs or balances; stoops, and kneels.
- Occasionally sits, crouches, or crawls, tastes or smells.
- Occasionally lifts up to 45 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
- Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
