Cliff’s Cabinetry Company is a manufacturer of high-quality cabinets for commercial and residential properties. Having served Middle Tennessee for over 70 years, we’re known for our quality, design, excellent service, and value.
We’re seeking a full-time, sales-oriented cabinet designer to join our team. As part of the role, you’ll assist customers, designers, and builders with every aspect of cabinet development. You’ll manage projects from end to end including guiding customers with product selection, taking measurements as needed, designing layouts, quoting, placing orders, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales to ensure smooth handoffs with customers from initial sales to drafting to quoting
- Work with customers on final selections, quotes, and approvals
- Prepare complete sets of drawings for each project including plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
- Accurately prepare quotes for projects, plus place and coordinate cabinet orders
- Partner with accounting on coordinating deposits and final invoices upon project completion
- Collaborate with our General Manager of Production to ensure that jobs are drawn, approved, and ordered based on production timelines
Qualifications and requirements:
- 3 years of cabinet designing experience
- Deep experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); NKBA (CKD) certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills - You can communicate accurately and effectively verbally (in person, on the phone) and in writing (email)
- Direct experience with salespeople, homeowners, builders, and cabinet producers
- Proven track record of handling multiple projects, and getting the details right
- Collaborative with customers, builders, and your teammates. You pride yourself on being a dependable teammate
- Can-do attitude - You are positive, eager to learn, and willing to perform tasks outside of your job description
