Automotive Service Advisor -Clift Buick GMC Adrian, MI

Clift Buick GMC of Adrian, Michigan is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our exciting and motivated team! The ideal candidate will be a customer oriented professional with a keen ability to interact with customers extensively in regards to concerns they may have with their vehicle.

As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane and are the first point of contact for the client as it relates to their vehicle status, repairs, diagnostics and issues. You will need to become well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others.

While we prefer experienced individuals, we welcome those who are new to the industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality. We are willing to train the right candidate for this customer centered, team focused position.

Position Responsibilities

-Listening to the customer taking note of what their concerns or issues are with their vehicle.
-High attention to detail is required for this position when following up with customers, as well as relaying customer statements to our service technicians.
-Be knowledgeable of symptoms customer explains clarifying when needed, but always creating a repair order in full detail for our service technicians.
-Verify warranty and contracts with customer being as transparent as possible.
-Develop an estimated cost in full detail for the customer but always following up with them when a finalized cost is made.
-Maintain service repair records fully organized and with no mistakes.
-Communicate with the service team to ensure technicians are not backed up with orders or work.

Position Requirements

-Current MI Driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
-Exceptional customer service skills and interactions.
-Excellent Communication and organization skills among team members and clients.
-Outgoing personality able to listen attentively.
-Works great in a team environment.
-Previous service advisor/writer experience is valued
-Automate and XTIME experience is a plus

-Must pass background check and physical

Monday-Friday                                 7:30am-5:30pm

Saturday                                           8:00am-12:00pm

Sunday                                              Closed
