What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Clinician position at Clinity Talent?
The Clinical Director is expected to possess experience in group facilitation and a solid understanding of dual diagnosis and mental health disorders within a partial hospital environment. This role necessitates the capability to operate autonomously, manage crises effectively, and comprehend various levels of psychiatric care.
The ideal candidate should possess at least two years of clinical experience within an addiction or mental health treatment program. Furthermore, it is essential to have a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform both administrative and clinical responsibilities.
- Conduct staff meetings and clinical rounds.
- Oversee chart audits and ensure the accuracy of patient documentation.
- Supervise clinical staff and graduate students.
- Manage a small caseload of four to five (4-5) patients, contingent on census.
- Conduct patient assessments; deliver diagnosis, treatment planning, case management, and discharge planning services.
- Execute utilization reviews.
Ensure adherence to standards set by external credentialing bodies, including insurers, the Joint Commission, and the Department of Public Health.
Qualifications:
Master's Level Clinician with knowledge and experience in treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
License requirements: LMHC, LICSW, LCSW
