Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques, to enhance learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs.
• Incorporate learning technology into lessons to facilitate interactive learning opportunities.
• Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance in subjects such as math and literacy.
• Maintain an organized classroom and manage library services for student access to resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and classroom management strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices.

Experience

• Michigan Teacher Certification with an Elementary Endorsement required
• Experience working in a classroom setting, particularly with young learners

Pay: $39,664.00 - $88,826.00 per year
