JOB OVERVIEW
As the Hospitality Intern you will be given the opportunity to have a meaningful work experience that will provide you with skills that will help you become job-ready and get confident to start your career in the Hospitality industry.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
As the Intern you will be given almost as much responsibility as a regular Team Member.
Operations:
• Support management with administrative documentation such as purchases and labor
• Prepare pre-shift notes
• Review and organize company policies and SOPs in our archive system
• Organize operational documentation and filing
• Shadow management on meetings and important day-to-day discussions
• Support on reports creation
• Organization of venue
• Guest Relations and positive Guest Experience support
General tasks:
• Support venue management with administrative tasks
• Support venue staff as needed
Marketing:
• Assist in managing digital marketing efforts, including social media, paid advertising, and website updates
• Support email marketing campaign performance
• Help manage community interactions
• Assist with planning, marketing, and executions of events, weekly promotions and activations
• Participate in onsite event execution
• Work with graphic designers, photographers, and other stakeholders to ensure brand consistency
General tasks:
• Provide administrative support to the Marketing Director and team as needed
• Stay informed about industry trends and share fresh ideas for marketing initiatives
• Maintain and organize marketing files, tools, and calendars
Sales:
• CRM management, organizing accounts, merging duplicate contacts, formatting templates
• Conducting research with Market Analysis, competitive market analysis tracking
• Attending meetings and events to learn and observe
• Updating sales documents
• Shadowing deal closures and secure information of business
• Communicating with vendors and clients
General Tasks:
• Asist with day-to-day paperwork
• Provide administrative support to Sr. Sales manager and Director
Finance & People & Culture
• Assist with Payroll data collection
• Audit financial documents
• Support with Hiring process
• Work card and I-9 Audit support
• Benefits & Leaves data collection/audit
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
• Completed or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Hospitality or other related fields (Within 18 months of graduating preferable)
• 21 years old
• Microsoft Office programs knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Be able to commute to our different offices and venues
• Flexible schedule availability, including some weekends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
• Must regularly lift and/move up to 25 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
