Cordelia Fishbar , opening in November 2024, is hiring experienced Servers / Captains with a passion for exceptional food, outstanding guest service, and above-average wine knowledge.

We are seeking professionals with fine dining experience who can provide top-tier service and contribute to an unforgettable dining experience.

Our menu will feature live-fire charcoal cooking techniques and locally sourced, fresh seafood.

Located in the vibrant Union Market neighborhood of DC, Cordelia Fishbar is the newest concept from Clyde's Restaurant Group .

WALK-INS : We welcome walk-ins to our recruiting office at 1309 5th St, NE, Washington, DC 20002 on the third floor. On 5th St, immediately after Union Market, up the white stairs.

• Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A SERVER / CAPTAIN

• Greet new parties and cordially welcome guests to the restaurant
• Inform guests of delicious menu choices and make suggestions
• Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately
• Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests
• Bus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course
• Total and present the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change
• Problem-solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect
• Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage
