Technical Architect - Security

Who We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Architect - Security to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security architecture principles, with a focus on enterprise applications, platforms, and APIs. This role requires the ability to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions across our organization's technology landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of security architectures for enterprise applications, platforms, and APIs.
• Standards and Guidelines: Develop and maintain security standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development and integration.
• Risk Assessments: Conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling for new and existing enterprise applications and platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Access Control: Design and oversee the implementation of authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms for APIs and platforms.
• Security Tools: Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies for application and API security.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including architecture diagrams, policies, and procedures.
• Guidance: Provide expert guidance on secure coding practices and application security testing methodologies.
• Emerging Threats: Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies related to application and API security.
• Incident Response: Participate in incident response planning and execution related to application security incidents.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: 8 years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years specializing in application security architecture.
• Skills: Strong background in security architecture, enterprise applications, platforms, and APIs.
• Location: This position is based in Auburn Hills, MI. No physical requirements are needed for this role.
