What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCF Tanzu - Devops position at Cognizant Technology Solutions?
Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) / Tanzu Application Service (TAS) and CI/CD
Required Skills:
- At least 5 years in Maintaining deep hands-on technical knowledge of PCF and Application infrastructure and architectures in ProductionEnvironment.
- Present PCF vision, strategy, technology and roadmaps to executives, technical management, engineers and operators
- Experienced in product upgrade, Patches for all the foundations.
- Maintain the BBR-Backup pipeline on regular basis.
- Knowledge on Certificate rotation, Adding trusted certificate in Bosh & TAS platform level.
- Actively contribute and drive creation of experience-based PCF Reference Architectures
- Extensive experience in Bosh, CF, Concouse (CI/CD) and Yaml
- Experience with CI/CD - (Azure Devops, Github Actions, Github, Jenkins Enterprise, Artifactory, Xray, Static analysis scan tools, Azure Testplan, Selenium, Jmeter, RestAssured, Postman)
- Experience with application deployment within containers; specifically Red Hat OpenShift. Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Experience in Docker and deploying applications to Kubernetes cluster with HELM charts
- OpenShift Cluster setup, networking and security configuration experience
- Knowledge of Operators and Containerization
- Assist application teams with on-boarding to the Tanzu platform - Resource requirements, capacity analysis, troubleshooting support
- Extensive knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures
- Experience with Java, JBoss, Springboot, WAS/WXS, Node.js and enterprise application architectures
- knowledge and experience with migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads
- Experience with external logging tools like SPLUNK/Paper trail
- Experience in monitoring Application as well as platform components using Healthwatch Grafana Dashboard and Alertig #LI-MSD
