Position Details

- Proficient in task automation and report generation using Blackbaud’s eTapestry, Raiser’s Edge, and Microsoft Access.
- Experience working in higher education with a general knowledge of college programs, requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with persistence and follow-through when working with diverse groups, including students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- Maintain accurate records in the Foundation’s database, ensuring compliance with non-profit accounting standards for gift processing and fund allocation.
- Process and categorize all gifts, including restricted, unrestricted, endowment, and investment accounts, and prepare acknowledgment letters and tax statements.
- Maintain database records for all prospects and donors including the maintenance of demographic information.
- Collaboratively work with Foundation staff to develop the Foundation’s prospect database and assist with prospect research.
- Automate key processes such as gift acknowledgment and financial reporting for efficiency.
- Collaborate with CPAs and tax professionals to complete monthly and annual audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Provide regular financial and fundraising reports to the Foundation and Institutional Advancement teams, including reporting for foundation board meetings, grants, scholarships, and donors.
- Assist in transitioning to a new platform for tracking foundation funds, utilizing Microsoft Access for streamlined data management.
- Develop actionable reports and insights on donor activity, ensuring clarity and accessibility for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate donor relations and stewardship activities with the Executive Director to assist with creating donor contact lists for events.
- Other duties as assigned.
