We are a busy physician owned, and physician lead multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Southwest Florida committed to delivering exceptional eye care to our community. We combine cutting-edge technology with a patient-centered approach to ensure the highest quality of service.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE ROLE :

We are seeking either a full or part-time motivated, detail-oriented and compassionate Optometrist who is excited to begin their professional journey in Optometry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate or an existing Optometrist who is interested in exploring medical Ophthalmology. You will have the ability to receive hands-on experience in a supportive setting with knowledgeable mentors who are dedicated to your development. You will have the chance to provide surgical post operative care, comprehensive eye care, diagnose and treat a variety of eye conditions, and build lasting relationships with patients - all while developing your clinical and diagnostic skills.

This position is required to travel to all our office locations in Naples, Fort Myers and Punta Gorda

WHAT POWERS YOUR SUCCESS :

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from an accredited program (required)

Licensed or eligible for State licensure (required)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Passion for patient care and delivering an excellent patient experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Willingness to travel to all our SWFL locations as necessary

Perform comprehensive eye exams to diagnose vision conditions and eye diseases.

Educate patients on proper eye care, including preventative measures and treatment plans.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage and co-manage patient care.

Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using our electronic health system.

Learn and maintain proficiency in our electronic health record system, Modernizing Medicine (Mod Med).

Stay up to date on advancements in optometry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Provide a full range of optometry services customarily provided by an Optometrist to clinic patients.
