Colonial Security Services is seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining security protocols and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics gate.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises
- Verify the identity of visitors entering the premises.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures.
- Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or safety hazards to appropriate authorities.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and departments to maintain a secure environment.
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and crisis management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Florida guard card REQUIRED
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Familiarity with security equipment and procedures.
