Description:
Columbia College Online Education is accepting applications for a part-time online adjunct instructor and developer to build and teach EDUC 635: Federal Funding, Special Programs, and Accountability as part of a newly created Educational Specialist graduate program. After completing the application process, the candidate's application will be considered active for two years. Qualified applicants will be contacted if an opening in their respective fields becomes available. After two years, candidates may reapply to update their application and restate their interest.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications to teach undergraduate courses include an Ed.D. or Ph.D., with a minimum of three years building or district level school leadership.  Candidate needs background in how to address needs of students, including the process and importance of raising staff consciousness regarding the importance of equity in the teaching and learning process. Candidate must have experience evaluating, calculating, and managing federal and state funding, which including special program funding and prioritization of funding to respond to the unique needs of K-12 students, including in the areas of special education, foster care, English Language learners, immigrants, refugees, neglected or delinquent, and homeless students. Candidate will have experience and knowledge of applicable policies, laws, rules, and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels that impact district leadership, teaching, and learning.
