We specialize in fixed-price design/build/test projects for federal and commercial clients, delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in industrial metal fabrication (welding/machining) to join our team and drive the success of our projects.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Project Management: Lead all aspects of fabrication and testing projects, from initial planning and procurement through manufacturing, testing, packaging, and delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals.
- Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project schedules that account for resource availability, customer timelines, and company priorities, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing clear, professional communication and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to assess project proposals, develop accurate resource estimates, and contribute to winning business opportunities.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure project quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to schedules.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address potential challenges, leading the project team to implement effective solutions that safeguard project success.
- Safety: Champion a safety-first culture by integrating safety practices into all aspects of project execution in both office and shop environments.
- Multitasking: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and maintaining clear, proactive communication with internal teams and external clients.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in managing industrial fabrication and testing projects, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to dynamic project needs to achieve business objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a history of effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and craftspeople.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes
- Hands-on project management experience with Department of Energy (DOE) or other government-regulated projects.
- Expertise in fabrication, testing, and inspection methods, with a solid understanding of industry best practices and standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial fabrication methods, welding processes, and the operation of fabrication equipment.
- A self-motivated, solutions-oriented approach, with a keen focus on project goals, client satisfaction, and overall business objectives.
- Demonstrated success in managing project scope, schedules, and budgets, with a proactive mindset toward risk mitigation and problem-solving.
- Eagerness to take on new challenges, expand expertise, and contribute to team growth and project success.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience or a combination of education and relevant industry experience will also be considered.

Salary : $95,000 - $180,000
