Supervise and instructs students with disabilities to provide them with language, social, self-help, vocational, perceptual, and daily living skills; provides individual instruction; supervises and helps plan extracurricular activities.
Plans and writes IEP and daily lesson plans; maintains all student records (e.g. progress reports, behavior charts, schedules): reviews and requisitions class materials and equipment, maintains contact with outside resources to secure assistance for specialized activities related to an individual's education plan.
Counsels students and their families; supervises students in building; participates in team meetings; attends staff meetings, in-service training and workshops.
Assists and participates in daily operational requirements of Program including feeding students, diapering students, loading and unloading buses, field trips, student supervision, collecting and recording student fees.
Similar and related duties as assigned.
