We are seeking a Veterinarian Technician in St. Louis, Missouri for a permanent role. Candidates must be a registered Veterinary Technician with the state of Missouri.
The Main Responsibilities
- Examine and evaluate overall health of all animals.
- Assists with euthanasia procedures as directed by veterinarian.
- Administer medication, assist veterinarian during surgery and monitor animals during recovery period.
- Conduct pre-adoption health examinations and prepares animals for adoption.
- Monitor medical supplies and record use of controlled substances to ensure Drug Enforcements Administration (DEA) requirements are met.
- Adapt practices to ensure the most current approaches to animal health and welfare are implemented.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires registration as a Veterinarian Technician with the state of Missouri.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
