Job: On-Call / Stand By Caregiver

Company: Comforcare Home Care - Montgomery County South East

Location: Montgomeryville

ComForCare Home Care is looking for an experienced caregiver for Short shift Caregiver for On call Position. They will be on-call and ready to step in to give care to clients. Stand-by direct care workers will be given a time frame they will need to be available to fill shifts. They must be willing to to work in all available environments (including facilities) with few restrictions (dogs, cats, smokers, driver, distance).

• On-Call Pay Bonus Pay: $25 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate) plus regular hourly rate if called into work

Duties

• Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Medication Management: Help with medication reminders and administering prescribed medications.
• Mobility Assistance: Aid with walking, transferring between bed and chair, and using mobility aids.
• Meal Preparation: Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
• Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in health conditions, including vital signs if required.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records of care activities, including medication administration and changes in health status.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: 3 year caregiving (required)
• Must be willing to work in Montgomery County South East (Please only apply if you are willing and flexible to work in that location)
• Transportation: Own vehicle (not from someone else) or reliable transport (required)
• Health Tests: 2-step PPD (last 12 months) or chest X-ray (last 2 years) or QuantiFERON Gold Test
  
  

Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
