The Comfort Suites Camp Hill/Harrisburg West is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to join our award winning hotel team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
This position will manage the staff and control the daily activities of the Housekeeping team ensuring that our guest rooms, public areas and employee areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. He/she is responsible for the following:
- Handling guest issues and interactions in a timely manner
- Conduct performance evaluations in addition to disciplining staff when needed
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate and coach all employees in the housekeeping department to ensure that established standards are met.
This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule who is able to work morning/afternoon shifts, weekends and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a supervisory position in Housekeeping
- Knowledge of housekeeping service and labor control
Starting salary $35,000 , based on experience
