- Experience analyzing issues affecting business or foreign investment or trade issues affecting U.S. industry competitiveness and reporting on findings.
- Experience coordinating large datasets and creating reports to track the progress of related work.
- Experience briefing a wide variety of stakeholders on findings.
- Experience conducting analytical work that addresses any of the following: U.S. business exports, reverse investment facilitation or trade development initiatives in key industries and world regions.
- Experience performing research, analysis and making recommendations on findings.
- Experience developing and disseminating business and industry related information to senior-level stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
As a Import Policy Analyst (Public Notice Flyer/Schedule A), you will perform the following duties:- Conduct research and analysis on foreign investment or trade issues of U.S. competitiveness in a global context to facilitate the Department's position on various cases.
- Prepare written briefings and transaction clearance materials for Senior Officials.
- Provide recommendations in briefings to Stakeholder and Senior Officials on an as-needed basis.
- Coordinate internal and external reviews of assigned transactions, leveraging the breadth of technical expertise available across Commerce.
