Job Description Job Description Data Resolution SpecialistJOB DESCRIPTIONSupervisor : Team Leader Status : Entry Level, Full Time, Non-Exempt Revised : November 2024Job SummaryThe Data Resolution Specialist is responsible for audits and processing logistics invoices across all modes of transportation, including Imports, Truckload, Intermodal, LTL and Parcel (including others). The Data Resolution Specialist will research and resolve invoices that are not in compliance with the contractual pricing and service agreements. Hybrid work schedule : home and office. The job will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities : Responsibilities
- Provide strong data and financial analysis & data management in the supply chain environment
- Works closely with the Freight Payment leadership teams to reduce unnecessary rework
- Provide feedback to Team Leaders related to inaccurate, misclassified content & billing adjustments
- Ensure freight audits are timely and accurate utilizing ability to interpret tariffs and / or pricing agreements including contracts for all modes of transportation
- Learn, implement and service Client Business Rules
- Create and maintain complicated spreadsheets
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Create spreadsheets to upload rates in the system
- Analyze customer data to understand customer perspectives and communicates potential resolution accordingly
- Confirms understanding of management direction by restating concerns or problem statements to ensure consistent and predictable job performance
- Communicate with management, customers and co-workers in a collaborative effort to understand solutionsRequired Competencies
- IT background and / or exposure to technical audits and evaluations.
- Strong analytical, computer skills, critical thinking and problem solving are mandatory
- Ability to read the NMFC Guide and apply correct freight class to all commodities
- Basic-to-Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Intermediate Outlook / Word mandatoryCompetitive Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in imports, logistics, transportation or freight experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Transportation terms (BOL, Consignee, Consignor, etc.) preferred
- Functional knowledge of global supply chain concepts a plus
- Strong data and financial analytics, data management and skills in supply chain and billing environment preferred
