The Community Health Center of Franklin County is searching for a qualified Medical Assistant to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical providers and delivering exceptional patient care. Position will be in Turner Falls.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations
• Take vital signs, weight, and measurements
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• Update and maintain patient medical records
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Answer phones and triage patient calls
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean and organized
• Perform other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Compassionate and patient-oriented demeanor
• Proficient in computer software, including electronic health records (EHR)
