Requirement:
2 years of ER experience required Must have experience working ER at a min. of Level III Trauma Center First time travelers are accepted Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required Certifications Required: ACLS, BCLS, PALS Certifications Preferred: CPI, TNCC Skills required: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Continuous IV Sedation, CVA, ICP Monitoring, Ortho-trauma, Respiratory/Thoracic, Shock/Trauma Experience and Triage Charting: EMR experience required though Meditech
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments of patients
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Assist in critical care situations in a Level II Trauma Center
- Operate neonatal ventilators and assist with critical care transport
- Perform sonography and phlebotomize patients as needed
- Administer Botulinum toxin treatment under supervision
- Assist with patient lift and transfer when required
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning
*Requirements*
- Valid RN license with a minimum of [X] years of experience in an emergency room setting
- Proficiency in critical care procedures and protocols
- Experience with neonatal ventilators, sonography, and phlebotomy preferred
- Ability to perform Botulinum toxin treatment is a plus
- Strong physical ability to lift and transfer patients when necessary
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
