What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy - Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator position at Community Medical?
This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status) variable shift Clinical Coordinator position in the Pharmacy Department.
The Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator works under the direction and supervision of the Pharmacy Director. This position functions as an integral member of the patient care team, responsible for the clinical support and coordination of all clinical pharmacy activities within the hospital, as well as in the Community Physician Group Clinics. This position works in collaboration with physicians, Nursing Services, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality and cost-effective drug therapy management to our patients while executing the assigned responsibilities and functions cooperatively with staff and management to support the mission, vision values and strategic plan of CMC.
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
- Licensed Montana Pharmacist required.
- Applicable practice in an ambulatory clinic setting with experience implementing and maintaining clinical programs
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with hospital personnel, physicians, and vendors.
- Must be proficient in English, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in pharmaceutical math, computer, office equipment, organizational, and team skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Pharmacy Specialties preferred
- Completion of General or Specialized Hospital Pharmacy Residency preferred or equivalent work experience
Weekend Requirements: as needed.
