Job Summary:
Community Memorial Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital committed to providing excellent care to our community, is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead and manage the operations of our busy Emergency Department. This position plays a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. As the Nurse Manager, you will oversee clinical staff, manage operational workflow, ensure regulatory compliance, and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Leadership & Staff Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of emergency nurses and support staff. Provide training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the ED, ensuring smooth patient flow, optimal resource utilization, and timely delivery of care. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Quality & Safety: Promote high standards of clinical care and patient safety. Monitor and improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the ED’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources, cost-effective operations, and maintaining appropriate staffing and supply levels.
- Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a liaison between the ED team, hospital leadership, physicians, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and patient care coordination.
Experience
Required- 10 Years of Nursing experience
Education
Required- Associates or better in Nursing
Licenses & Certifications
Required- Registered Nurse
