General Summary
As a Project Manager at Community National Bank, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing key projects aimed at enhancing our banking processes, improving customer experiences, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project management lifecycle, from project initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for staying up to date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures.
- Develop detailed project plans outlining project tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the FiServ core processing relationship. This will include ensuring CNB personnel make effective use of any training and support offered by FiServ. Will also be primarily responsible for ensuring billing is accurate and that Service Level Agreements are complied with.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project plans effectively.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicate project objectives, status updates, and risks to stakeholders, including senior
- management, department heads, and external partners.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project implementation.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Proactively assess project risks and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and quality checks to maintain the integrity of project outcomes.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize project efficiency.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting project status, key milestones, and performance metrics.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Complete special projects or other tasks as requested.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to handle most aspects of the job with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure while completing work in an accurate, timely, and high-quality manner.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and capability of handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as the capacity to learn and efficiently utilize various other computer programs.
Certifications/Education and Experience
- Prior recent experience in a marketing or public relations role preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the banking or financial services industry.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience with FiServ Premier is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and software applications.
Travel
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected to the offices in Dallas and Lubbock.
Working Conditions
- Indoor, in an office environment, with a typical 40-hour workweek.
- Considerable effort and eyestrain from continuous computer use.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally move office equipment, and files weighing 10 pounds.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
