Community Resident Services, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, is currently recruiting for a PART-TIME PROGRAM COORDINATOR. CRS is engaged in the development and operation of affordable rental housing and the provision of social services to residents living at those properties. CRS is headquartered in Sacramento, CA with properties in Marysville, the Sacramento area, the Bay Area, Tracy, Hanford, Sanger, Hayward and Lompoc.

We are looking for a part-time Program Coordinator to organize, plan and run programs for senior adults at a low-income apartment complexes in the Sacramento area. A Program Coordinator will work with residents to develop the following programs, based on the needs and interests of the residents:

• Computer Lab: geared to adults; answer questions on using computers to include internet searches and employment assistance.
• Senior activity coordinator: run bingo games, arts and crafts, community togetherness activities
• Services Information: matching residents to needed services within the community, including employment assistance.

Responsibilities include: setting schedule

• communicating with supervisor/manager/residents
• set up and clean up of daily programs
• researching/planning/implementing programs
• preparing and submitting updates and reports
• marketing program to residents

Requirements: Experience working with or operating youth programs, whether paid or volunteer

• Experience with social services desirable
• Bilingual in English/Hmong, English/Spanish English/Russian a plus
• Timeliness and punctuality
• Ability to self-start, multi-task and take initiative
• Proficiency in email, Microsoft Word & Excel and use of internet
• Ability to work in indoor settings as well as outdoor during appropriate weather
• Physical activity to include lifting, bending walking, kneeling, reaching, step climbing
