What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Peer Engagement Specialist position at Community Resource Center?
Must be 21 y/o have valid driver's license and auto insurance
Pay:
GED or Equivalent $18; CRSS $20
- Person with lived experience in recovery from a mental illness or experience navigating the mental health system for a family member or loved one.
- Highschool equivalent with a Certified Recovery Support Specialist or the ability to become a Certified Recovery Support Specialist within one year of employment (training provided)
- Knowledge and training in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders/Diagnosis
$1,000 Retention Bonus after 9 months of employment
Responsibilities: (Training Provided)
Participate on a Crisis team along side mental health professionals responding to person’s experiencing mental health crisis in the community by:
- Participating on Crisis Line Calls
- Providing Brief Solution Focused Crisis Counseling
- Off-Site Mobile Crisis Response
- Follow up and referral
- Safety Planning
- Documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Must be able to travel
