What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Community Support Services of Missouri?

 
Full time position with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, supplemental, PTO and retirement 403B. We offer a 100% vested day 1 match of up to 3%.  
Up to a $5000 sign on or tuition reimbursement.


A professional position responsible for assessment, treatment and follow-up with individuals receiving behavior services primarily focusing with adults and adolescents in the community setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.     INDIVIDUAL SERVICES 

  • Provide individual and group services according to individualized treatment plans and in accordance with professional standards (services, preparing and updating of plans, UR requests)

  • Make treatment and social service referrals to appropriate agencies that support individuals’ goals 

  • Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner

    • Monthly summaries due the 10th of each month

    • Maintain billable caseload each month – (% ) 

  • Maintain current knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques, criminal justice systems, and community resources using in-service training, seminars, workshops, and publications 

  • Act as point of contact between case managers, service coordinators and programs as applicable 

  • May attend choice of provider and informational meetings as applicable


2.       SUPERVISION AND SUPPORT 

  • May assist with hiring 

  • Manage concerns relating to coverage, productivity, customer service skills, and workload expectations for technicians

  • Provide direct and indirect consultation/supervision with technicians per service requirements

  • Complete performance evaluations for technicians


             3.            PLANNING AND COORDINATION

  • Attend/Facilitate regular clinical team meetings 

  • Work closely with the advocacy and residential to coordinate services to individuals 

  • Maintain a working relationship with outside agencies 

  • Meet with the Clinical Director for supervision

  • Assist in promoting CSS Behavioral services with public, community professionals and potential individuals served, as applicable

  • Maintain documentation, individual files, and statistics as required by agency policies and funding sources 

  • Manage individuals and outcomes tracking in Individuals’ database

  • Reliability - Personally responsible; completes work in a timely, consistent manner; works hours necessary to complete assigned work; is regularly present and punctual; arrives prepared for work; is committed to doing the best job possible; keeps commitments

  • Physical Abilities - Must be able to lift 50 pounds, also required to bend, twist, stoop and kneel

  • The ability to work independently in an office environment, home office or in the community.

  • Agency Requirements – pass all required federal, state and agency required background checks; pass pre-employment drug testing and the Missouri Family and Child Safety Registry

    • A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance is required. 

    • Masters Degree in the Human Services field and certification under the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

    • A Missouri state license to practice Behavior Analysis

      • A copy of licensure must be on file in HR and each renewal thereafter 

      • Experience assessing and developing programming for individuals with autism spectrum, social communication and other related developmental disorders.
