We are seeking a skilled Merchant Seaman with a United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential. As a Seaman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. We are always recruting for Deckhands, Ordinary Seaman, Able Bodied Seaman, QMEDS, Captains, and Cooks!
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on the vessel
- Operate and maintain navigational equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Stand watch and maintain a lookout for potential hazards
- Handle lines during docking and undocking procedures
- Assist with emergency response procedures
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Hospitality: Ability to provide excellent customer service to passengers and crew members
- Cook: Proficiency in preparing meals for the crew and passengers
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and address their needs
- Rig: Knowledge of rigging techniques for securing cargo and equipment
- Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of basic mechanical systems on board the vessel
