Manager of Treatment Operations   

The Manager of Outpatient Services provides oversight of daily operations of our high-volume behavioral healthcare center to maximize the patient experience.  We are dedicated to providing empathic and collaborative patient care while maintaining a positive work and treatment environment. This requires a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to serving patients and partnering with team members.   

Work Arrangements 
  • Essential Staff
  • Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:45 AM - 1:30 PM; Tuesday, Thursday – 5:45 AM – 2:30 PM; occasional Saturdays 5:45 AM - 9:30 AM100%
  • On-Site during core service hours
  • Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Job Description    
Essential Functions:   
  • Primary focus of maximizing patient experience.​
  • Responsible for day-to-day treatment operations and activities.
  • Serves as administrative first point of contact at the site, facilitates problem solving and maintains communication across departments.
  • Operational site responsibility includes:
    • procedure development,
    • policy implementation and recommendation for updates and/or changes,
    • meeting privacy and regulatory requirements,
    • monitoring patient visit goals to actuals,
    • monitoring patient census and responsible for coordination, tracking and reporting of retention initiatives,
    • supports a trauma informed and calm treatment environment,
    • administers patient administrative action/discharges.
  • Oversees the organization’s daily treatment operations through coordination with department managers and organization’s leadership team; works closely with clinical, medical, and administrative staff.
  • Directly oversees the medical registration representatives and contract security officers.
    • Provides direction and on-going feedback
    • Fosters professional growth and development
    • Supports team members in problem solving and conflict resolution
    • Actively participates in the recruitment process for the team
    • Establishes and manages the Medical Registration staff schedule
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and timely attendance.
  • Assist with the NPI process and establishment and maintenance of CAQH profile, if requested.
  • Assist with the credentialing process, if requested.
  • Participates in the annual BCI and FBI background check processes.
  • Maintain required professional licensure/credentials.      
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years' experience in a related field; or master's degree in any field. 
  • At least 5 years experience in a healthcare organization.
  • At least 2 years experience managing staff required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization and patients.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking and planning skills.
  • The ability to establish and maintain a person-centered and forward-thinking environment.
