Maintenance Employee

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Employee!

BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE:

This position performs preventative maintenance and repairs for the business operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preventative maintenance, general maintenance and some repairs on equipment used in the foundry such as (but not limited to):
  • Forklifts, furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, sand mixers, cranes, sand blasting equipment, etc.
• Perform maintenance for office (i.e. light bulbs, installation and movement of furniture, etc.)
• Weld – tack minor things together
• Minor machine shop maintenance as needed
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance within the plant within ISO guidelines.
• Operate a crane
• Operate a front end loader
• Operate a forklift.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Manufacturing or Foundry experience (1-2 years)
• Superb attention to detail
• Knowledge of metals and alloys
• Able to read drawings (preferred)

Must complete a physical, background check, drug screen, and provide references prior to hire in.
