Composite Manufacturing, Inc. is Hiring an Assembly Technician Near San Clemente, CA

We are hiring a Assembly Technician at Composite Manufacturing Inc., located in San Clemente. We are an established company that focuses its development and manufacturing efforts toward the medical market with emphasis on the surgical arena.

The assembler will be responsible for the assembly or fabrication of mechanical parts, pieces or products using manual tools and equipment. They will be responsible for following all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) on a production line in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of (or ability to learn) how to read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specification, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Ability to utilize hand held tools such as a screw driver, pliers, and electric drill
  • Performing soldering, which is the process in which two or more metal items are joined
  • Maintain inventory of products in the work stations
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Attend training sessions and quality meetings
