What are we looking for in a Supervisor?
This position serves three main functions: therapy, crisis response, and team management. During the workday, the Supervisor meets with scheduled clients to provide evidence-based therapy for adults and seniors. In addition to outpatient therapy duties, the Supervisor also participates in rotating on-call shifts during the workday, evenings, and weekends to provide crisis outreach services for the whole county. This involves responding to requests for crisis services and traveling out in the community to complete crisis assessments, determine what level of treatment is needed to stabilize the situation, and make arrangements for hospital placements or outpatient treatment as appropriate. In addition to providing direct treatment, the Supervisor also provides direction, guidance, and feedback to each member of the team, including providing clinical supervision and additional training when appropriate. The Supervisor also has administrative duties that include tracking clients’ intervention outcomes and access to care within the program, ensuring staff’s timely & thorough completion of clinical documentation, developing and monitoring the budget, and managing team caseloads. This position is best suited to someone who enjoys variety in their days and is skilled at managing & supporting others to achieve their goals. This position is located in our Ellensburg office on our adult & senior outpatient team and will provide crisis services for all of Kittitas County.
Supervisor duties may include:
- supervising and coaching program staff and managing team schedules
- providing clinical supervision to employees and interns as credentials allow
- ensuring the delivery of appropriate, trauma-informed, clinically effective, and culturally competent services across the program
- participating in direct treatment by completing mental health intakes & assessments, providing therapy, treatment planning with each client, and providing crisis outreach services
- conducting interviews and making hiring selections for team vacancies
- gathering & tracking program data and implementing policies & procedures
- tracking compliance with all applicable regulations and preparing for survey & license reviews or audits
- collaborating with other Comprehensive Healthcare departments and developing positive relationships with the community that support effective treatment for our clients
- participating in the rotation for crisis call coverage with additional compensation
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field leading to eligibility for independent clinical licensure
- Two years of experience providing behavioral health treatment
- Must have independent licensure as Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington
- Must be eligible for designation as Mental Health Professional and Designated Crisis Responder
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
Compensation:
- Regular compensation includes base annual salary plus monthly premium for supervisory duties, with a total range of $83,696-$105,815 per year
- Placement within the range is dependent on actual years of directly relevant experience above the minimum requirements
- Additional compensation includes:
- On-call compensation of $3.00 / hour for all call shifts, plus tiered pay rates dependent upon length of time spent in the community responding to any crisis call(s) during the shift
- Enhanced salary for independent licensure in Washington (LICSW or LMHC)
