Job Summary:
The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, growth, and performance of multiple branches within a designated region of the staffing firm. This leadership role focuses on ensuring that branches meet their recruitment, sales, and profitability goals while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and candidate experience. The Regional Manager will also be responsible for managing branch managers, fostering a high-performing team culture, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Management & Performance:
- Oversee multiple staffing branches within the region, ensuring each location meets its revenue, placement, and operational goals.
- Provide leadership and support to branch managers and their teams to drive performance and accountability.
- Business Development & Client Relations:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the firm’s client base within the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their staffing needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor branch managers and other key personnel to ensure they are well-equipped to meet performance expectations.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven work environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional development.
- Financial Management & Budgeting:
- Develop and manage regional budgets, ensuring that branches operate within financial targets while optimizing profitability.
- Analyze financial reports and branch performance data, making adjustments to strategies and operations as necessary.
- Recruitment Strategy & Operations:
- Oversee the recruitment strategy for the region, ensuring that all branches follow best practices and are meeting client demands.
- Ensure efficient and compliant operational processes in place for recruiting, screening, and onboarding candidates.
- Client & Candidate Satisfaction:
- Monitor and improve the quality of service provided to clients and candidates, ensuring that staffing solutions meet or exceed expectations.
- Handle escalated issues and problem-solve complex situations to ensure client and candidate satisfaction.
- Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of trends, competition, and workforce changes in the staffing industry.
- Develop and implement strategies that ensure the region remains competitive and continues to grow market share.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all branches operate in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including labor laws, employment standards, and company policies.
- Manage risk by ensuring adherence to staffing contracts, proper employee classification, and legal compliance.
- Reporting & Forecasting:
- Regularly report on branch performance, client acquisition, and financial health to senior management.
- Provide accurate forecasting for revenue, expenses, and staffing demand.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a staffing or recruitment firm, preferably in multi-branch management.
- Strong business development and sales experience, with a focus on staffing services.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and develop effective strategies to achieve business goals.
- Knowledge of labor laws, recruitment practices, and staffing industry regulations.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software, CRM systems, and other operational tools.
Preferred:
- Certifications in HR or Staffing (e.g., CSP, SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in scaling operations across a multi-state or national region.
