Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift)

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour $1.25/hr. Shift Premium

Job Summary:

A Manufacturing Technician Associate is responsible for operating several different types of machinery and tools to produce product and material that is needed for the Welding Department, Assembly Departments, and Parts Orders as required. These include, but are not limited to: Break Press, Drills, Saws, Mills, and Grinders.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Use measuring tools and/or machinery in order to complete production orders
• Perform various general laborer duties in metal fabrication which may include, hardware insertion, polishing, spot weld, grinding, forming, tapping/drilling
• Follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations/maintain safe work area
• Select proper tools required for project set ups; assist in set ups
• Maintain tool inventory and alert Supervisor when supply is low
• Adhere to department quality checks and PPE protocol
• Adhere to ISO and other Company protocols as required

Reasoning & Ability:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• High caliber of quality assurance; strong skills in observing/inspecting own work
• Able to work within a team environment and willing to follow direction from a Team Leader
