What You’ll Do:
The Director of People & Experience will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including enforcing company policies and practices, aligning business objectives with teammates and management in all locations, and formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
● Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
● Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of teammates, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the VP of People as needed/required.
● Provides day-to-day performance management guidance for the HR team & front-line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
● Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
● Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's people resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
● Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
● Consults on Teammate disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
● Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
● Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
● Performs other related duties as required

● Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
● Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
● A minimum of five years of human resource management experience is preferred.
● SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
Physical Requirements:
* While performing the duties of this position, the team member is required to stand or walk for hours at a time up to 4-8 hours.
● Team members will continuously be performing hand and wrist work including grasping and bending and twisting but rarely fine hand manipulation.
● Team members will seldom kneel, squat or climb stairs.
● Team members will continuously lift or carry 0-35 pounds, occasionally lift or carry 36-50 pounds and rarely lift or carry over 50 pounds.
