What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Techno Functional Consultant position at Confidental Company?
We are looking for two senior Oracle techno functional consultants ( HR, Finance) to support an Oracle Cloud ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will have gained domain expertise by working in the industry (10 years) and then shifted to work with Oracle ERP (5 years).
The consultant will serve as the domain lead for the project. Listed below are the key responsibilities:
- Work with the staff to understand existing business processes and suggest improvements in the context of the new system capabilities
- Collaborate with staff to finalize requirements and translate business requirements to functional specifications for the vendor
- Work with staff to ensure that critical business processes are well represented in the testing
- Assist data conversion efforts by supporting data validation using available reports and custom queries
- Serve as the effective liaison between staff and vendor resources to ensure smooth execution of project tasks
We are looking for candidates with strong communication, facilitation skills and experience in working with business team members in a collaborative manner. The consultant will be required to review and create multiple types of documents including business process documents, test cases, functional specs and others as needed.
Work can be performed remotely but in-person presence is needed at Annapolis MD for planned meetings and workshops. Ideal candidates will reside in the Washington DC Metro area.
