Position Overview :
The A / R Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records related to customer payments and dealership revenue. You will work closely with the accounting and sales teams to ensure timely processing of payments, reconciliation of accounts, and follow-up on outstanding invoices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an interest in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on receivables.
- Assist in end-of-month financial closing activities.
- Process contract cancellations
- Provide support to the accounting department and perform additional tasks as needed.
