Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance activities.
- Monitor and adjust plant processes as required to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collect wastewater samples and analyse data to optimise plant performance.
- Manage the preparation of various wastewater treatment reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of plant operations.
- Ensure plant operations are in compliance with all relevant regulations and permits.
Requirements
- Maryland 6A Wastewater Operator License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate of Applied Science Degree in related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand technical manuals and drawings.
- Solid understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
