Job Purpose
To manage and sell in every facet of a daily operation to achieve maximum return to the location’s profitability.
This position is located in Southeastern Virginia area.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support and direction of duties to hourly employees.
- To manage the Retail Location’s P&L Budget.
- Oversee inventory management support including counting, ordering, rotating and capital in use management.
- Foster an environment of positive employees with a team player type attitude.
- Outside sales to customers to help drive sales goals for the location.
- Manage personnel in maintenance intervals and repairs of the locations assets.
- Implement employee training schedule.
- Maintain proper paperwork as outlined by the company’s policies, to ensure an adequate audit score when performed.
- Conduct direct reports for three full-time and multiple seasonal employees
- New facility – time spent getting it up and going
- Source farmer peanut contracts and management thereof

Requirements
- Associates' degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Farming background a plus
- Management/leadership experience
- Sales experience required, handling connections with local customers and promoting product.

- Effective leader that gets along well with people
- Salesmanship skill translated to purchasing grain from farmers
- Management skills
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Expected to be at the facility everyday
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
