Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Fabricate and weld components as necessary for repairs or improvements.
- Supervise maintenance staff when required, providing guidance and support.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal of facilities.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using CMMS for effective maintenance management.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in welding techniques and fabrication processes.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting capabilities.
- Supervisory skills to lead a team when necessary.
