As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for roofing projects and ensure our profit margin standards.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
- Maintain and update a database of cost information.
- Perform site visits to gather information and verify project requirements.
- Conduct detailed site inspections and assessments.
- Prepare and present proposals and cost estimates to customers.
- Ensure estimates align with company financial profit standards and project requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices.
- Bring in net new roofing sales leads for estimating.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in estimating TPO/PVC roofing systems
- Proven experience as a commercial roofing estimator.
- In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and construction processes.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
