We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Manager / Location Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and optimizing the location’s performance. Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee all daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring the efficient workflow of the service center.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure every customer has a positive experience by addressing inquiries, complaints, and providing expert advice. Maintain a customer-first approach to service.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of skilled technicians and support staff. Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, quality, and professionalism.
- Sales & Profitability: Drive the location's profitability through strategic planning, effective sales techniques, and upselling additional services. Monitor budgets, track expenses, and manage resources efficiently.
- Quality Control: Ensure all services meet the company's standards of excellence and adhere to safety protocols.
- Performance Tracking: Develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the team’s effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive repair or service management, with a track record of successfully managing a team and location.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in team building and performance management.
- Customer-Focused: Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive repair processes, diagnostics, and equipment.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales techniques, service upselling, and budget management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications in automotive repair or business management preferred.
