Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Data Center Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-grade network infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in creating detailed network documentation, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, document, and maintain robust Data Center networks using Cisco and Arista solutions.
- Apply expertise in routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EVPN/VxLAN, as well as SDN platforms such as Cisco ACI.
- Design and manage Leaf/Spine architectures and Top-of-Rack configurations.
- Document high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) for network configurations and workflows.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with Data Center networking and technologies.
- Proficiency in designing and troubleshooting networks with protocols like BGP, OSPF, SDN, and EVPN/VxLAN.
- Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and essential networking tools (e.g., Radius, DNS, NTP).
- Expertise in IP address subnetting and creating network topology diagrams using tools like Microsoft Visio.
- Proven ability to manage telecom carrier circuits and collaborate with vendors.
- Exposure to cloud environments and technologies is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and infrastructure service delivery.
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise or financial environments is a plus.
