Duties
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Support mobility by helping patients move safely within their environment.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance skills.
Skills
- Experience or knowledge in areas such as PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), Emergency Medicine, or Hospital Medicine is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical practices within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a teaching hospital environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
