Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Consignment Clothing store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and leading a team to achieve store goals. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high store standards.
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products to ensure availability and minimize waste.
- Oversee shift management, ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed and that employees are performing their duties effectively.
- Supervise staff performance, providing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and foster a positive work environment.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
- Analyze sales reports and inventory data to make informed decisions about product placement and promotions.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a grocery store setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management practices and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control processes.
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently.
