Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager, who is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 years of experience
- Experience/exposure to hybrid project methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
- Experience with Microsoft Teams (all project documentation- plans, charters, etc.)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Experience with Microsoft Project (Project Online) is a plus
- PMP Certification is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined scope and quality standards
- Facilities PM- still will be doing some minor construction (walls are already up) but may need to be involved with qualification and commissioning of computer systems as well as rooms
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor and control project performance to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Allocate resources and manage project teams effectively to ensure successful project execution
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure effective collaboration across all departments and with external partners or vendors
- Conduct regular project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate project records
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and policies
