What are the responsibilities and job description for the QIDP/RN position at Consumer Support Services, Inc.?
Consumer Support Services is currently hiring for the position of QIDP/RN for our 8 bed ICF/IID Facility:
The job duties in the RN role include:
1. Responsible for daily oversight of a maximum of 8 individuals in the ICF/IID setting.
2. Oversee and/or coordinate medical care and treatment to the individuals, per doctor’s orders and the IHP.
3. Provide professional nursing services to each individual, performing basic therapeutic and preventative nursing measures according to established protocols.
4. Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with all state, local and federal guidelines.
5. Provide in-service training to staff in compliance with regulatory agency standards as assigned. Assist with training classes for CPR/First Aid and Delegated Nursing.
6. Provide oversight for medication administration and assure that all medications are administered, dispensed, stored and disposed of by the staff in compliance with regulatory standards and company policy. Provide delegating nurse services as assigned.
7. Participate in and provide input at team meetings to assure optimum development and health for each individual.
8. Coordinate services of contractual personnel related to medical services as assigned (i.e. dietician, pharmacy, lab, medical suppliers).
9. Be on-call as assigned.
10. Travel to Dayton one day a week.
The job duties in the QIDP role include oversee the day-to-day operations of the ICF, including but not limited to supervision, training staff, and a strong emphasis on client needs in addition to writing the plans for the individuals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
